Have you ever heard of the incredible volunteers at concerts and festivals who dedicate themselves to assisting individuals going through a bad trip? These compassionate souls offer calming and soothing words, going above and beyond to ensure the comfort of those in need.
Let me introduce you to Evelyn, who had a day filled with sunshine, play, and an abundance of watermelon-induced fun. As the day winded down, she settled in for some relaxation with the television show PJ Masks. However, when bedtime arrived, the unexpected side effects of the day’s adventures came into play. Laughter mixed with tears, absurd stories flowed, and tender moments of caressing our faces left us unsure which side of the happy/sad teeter-totter Evelyn would ultimately settle on.
Reflecting on the day, it was a blast. Our community barbecue treated us to mouthwatering delights like smoked brisket, chicken, and pulled pork, complemented by an array of delectable side dishes. Meanwhile, during the fishing derby, Dave triumphantly reeled in a fish, adding to the excitement of the day. On a different note, the home next door, whose owner’s I’ve never particularly liked, is back on the market, reigniting my hope for fantastic neighbors in the future. Our fostering journey with the cats concluded as they reunited with my cousin, and now, we eagerly anticipate the hatching of the ducklings, which is just around the corner. Plus, spending quality time with my parents and friends made the day all the more special.
