Hey there, if you dropped by yesterday and didn’t find a new post, I owe you an apology. It turns out my forgetful thumb failed to hit the publish button, so a post that I was genuinely proud of remained trapped in digital purgatory.
Speaking of my dumb thumb, since I left my laptop at home, I’m relying heavily on it swiping on my phone to compose my thoughts. And honestly, I’m not a fan of this mobile typing experience!
When Evelyn started asking me about the various animals in the woods like bears, coyotes, deer, and even cougars before bed, I naturally assumed she would ask me about the potential danger of biting humans. But oh no. Instead, she said: “Do they eat bees?”
On a another note, the salmon berries are in full bloom, and during a short walk this evening, we didn’t resist plucking some and savoring their juicy sweetness.
Unfortunately, I won’t be able to capture any adorable duckling photos this weekend. However, I do have a lengthy video to make up for it. And a spoiler, that tiny bundle of feathers gets a crown of oatmeal dropped on its head.
