As Evelyn’s three-and-a-half-year-old self waited for Archie to finish his meal, she plopped down beside me as I brainstormed for this blog. I asked her, “To the people, what do you want to say?”

“I very want to sleep in your bed with you but you said no. Grandma give my shark to me, and its in the car. I want to draw, I mean do the letters. Bedside now, I check in with Dave who’s out with friends. Again I ask Evelyn what she wants to say. “I love you and we are reading books and I took a bath and a big poo poo.”

Which is the truth. With its less-than-solid exit, that big poo had spillage, requiring an unplanned stop and dunk in the tub.

Anyway, the cruller donuts I made for the 13-year-old client went over swimmingly, so much so they were singing along to a couple of their favorite songs by the end of session. Which was a supernaturally beautiful experience I’d without hesitation give five stars.

Additionally, our Airbnb guest, although leaving a day early to beat the traffic to the airport, said, “We love, love, loved our stay.” And that they also left a cooler. Which, since the cabin didn’t have a cooler, is a welcomed parting gift. Plus, they watered the lawn, and as you may remember from a post a couple months ago, is an area I’m hoping to improve by summer’s end.

Well, I better get to studying Spanish. I hope you had a great day. Love, Jaclynn
