All kinds of shenanigans are taking place now that the sun’s gone down. From our pet duck peeping in on us from the skylight above while we’re burshing our teeth to my finally laying down to type after putting Evelyn to bed then hearing, “Mom! I’m mad at you.” Turns out I wheeled her shopping car containing her cup of milk – unknowingly – away from the reach of her bed.
Parenting tasks quickly press down on me, especially when I see the final approach of evening, of letting go and just being enter the equation.
I got a good book recommendation from my friend Paul earlier while waiting in the meat pie line at the Highland Games: “The Courage To Be Disliked.” And since a big portion of my day were at the games, I’ll leave you with some videos of it.
I hope you had a lovely day. Jaclynn
