There are two notes I’ve taken in an “Untitled document” in my Google Docs. If you’ve been a daily reader, the first is obviously about kitchen cabinets. Because it gives insight into the state of my mind three days ago, I’ve chosen to leave it as is.

The second is important battle tactics related to my Total Battle game. It references the troops I need to take to battle—not like battle battles because that’s different. But coordinated clan battles that drive up points without the negative impact of winning or losing. In these battles, winning is guaranteed.

G4 is short for Guardsman 4, and right now, I’m focusing on leveling up my city’s building and researching (where battle points are used) to unlock Guardsman 5. Today, my clan went on the first of its kind crypt-hunting expedition. Since I invested most of my research early on into researching crypts, I was able—unlike most of my clan—to raid level 20 crypts. Did Blackconjourer, the leader of our 78-person clan, take note of this, and will it be a detail that later on will assist in propelling me up from Veteran to Superior rank status? We shall see.
Our clan merging with another has been momentous in the activity and successes our clan is currently experiencing. More activity in the clan chat and on raids is a major plus. The gifts, as a result, are the mortar to the brick-built foundation.
Is that all to share? Well, there’s more. As I type, I know a raid is happening, where I gain Pursuit of Experience coins. These coins are added to my artifact bonuses and yet another thing a prospective Superior needs.
I gained the rank of Superior in my previous clan far before my time. The chaos and resulting insecurity I felt in the HTR (the Hunters) clan led me to my new home with the CC2 (Chicken Coop clan). Our motto is “Foxtrot Unicorn Charlie Kilo around and find out.” If you’ve already figured it out, you are three months sooner than I was. I don’t know how I miss things. Well, first off, Unicorn is a member of our clan. So I just figured it was the names of clan members; however, I never saw the names of any others. I can be slow on the uptake. And I’m sure you’ve got it because I’m deliberately stalling here as you do. But nobody did that for me. I just thought, interesting, a radio signal with the name of our clan member. Did the other three members retire?
Fuck.
I do know the new King of our Kingdom. She is the best ruler to date and is beloved by all the members. Looking back on where I started and how royalty was as foreign as a trip to Mars, I am now connected enough in the game that I know several players in the royal guard positions.
The game is valuable to me. I have grown into my role so that every morning, day, and evening, I participate in events and collaborate with my clanmates.
I’m grateful I found a group that is slightly on/off the border of appropriate and very loyal. I imagine I’ll stay forever.
