Artsy Fartsy

I have three more days in the office and seven more days until our house goes on the market. Everything is a countdown lately. Once we get into contract, I think I will rest easy. Then, I’ll work from home and have a month to sell all the remaining furniture.

Will we be homeless? Perhaps, but Dave, Evelyn, Archie, and I have three prospects on the horizon. First, there’s our friend Patrick and Susans’ basement. Second, my friend Hilary’s camper near Westport. Third, my parents’ basement.

I’m indifferent about where we go. But what about our stuff? We could pack it in my Dad’s truck and store it in their garage if needed.

In between thoughts, I’m tuning into the second half of Dune 2. I love watching movies, especially good movies, and this is one good one.

I’m hungry for pho. Is eating it another thing to add to my bucket list? Yeah, and how about I take care of that tomorrow? It’ll be yummy in my tummy.

I’m no art therapist, but a client and her mom brought watercolors and mini canvases in an afternoon session. A mushroom, a hot air balloon, and watery landscape were the finished products, and currently sitting in my office to dry. For my next continuing education credits I wonder if there is an art-related course I could take.

For the remaining part of the movie, I’m going to pay closer attention. It’s at the climax!

Love, Jaclynn
