With our departure date looming, I committed to establishing an itinerary. My goal was to have it finished by this weekend’s end. However, once I started I couldn’t stop. Ok, so what if I came in three days ahead of my self-imposed deadline?
To start, I’m glad the all night drive idea gotkaboshed. Lovely is the headlight lit road with peaceful, easy feelings, but doing it in a car with three other humans and a dog in the 90-plus pound range? No thank you! I foresee a new Eagles song called “Disturbed Agitation”.
And that we’re stopping Lawrence to see my long-time friend Joey (has it been seven years since I last saw him?), will be one mile from downtown Nashville, and a stone throw’s away from a park Lake Coeur d’Alene are wonderful perks.
My mind’s eased now that Dave procured freon recharge (even though it’s supposedly illegal in Washington state). In case you don’t know, if one side of your car’s air conditioning goes out freon could be the effect. The final car maintenance will be a oil change, and a rooftop sack to carry our clothes and hygienic items.
