Independent Day

I’m very much glued to the PulsePoint app on my phone. It’s a list and map of all the fire and rescue calls in my area. Currently, there are five active, including a vehicle fire, three medical emergencies, and a residential fire. Nine of the previous ten were all vegetation fires, one of which we drove by on our way home from the fireworks display on Tapps Island.

Now, I’m diving into pillows. Specifically, a customizable one called the “Pluto” that was featured on Shark Tank. Even though it’s costly, the reviews are incredible. I’m not getting one, just ogling and bookmarking it for a gift idea.

Listening to all the pops and bangs, I wish it’d be over already. I feel bad for the deer and heavy panting Archie.

I need to skip out early; it’s getting late. Tomorrow, I’ll be a passenger in Kristen’s car for an hour-and-a-half drive to Bainbridge for a friends’ wife’s memorial service. That will be a good time to write.

See ya tomorrow, and happy Fourth.

Love,
Jaclynn
