Puttin’ on the Fritz

Like Star Wars says, procrastination is strong with this one. Whenever inspiration knocked at my door today, I regretfully turned it away.

By 10 p.m., all I had were those two sentences before I found myself deep in an Etsy shopping spree. At least I had the presence of mind to reactivate my savings code generator and save $24 on a Christmas gift for my dad. Small wins.

I’ll jump straight to my gratefuls and then haul my sore throat and stuffy-nosed face to bed.

  • I’m grateful the new season of Silo is out. Season 2, Episode 1 picked up exactly where it left off, and by the end, I was already counting down to the next episode.
  • I’m grateful for the new ear protection Dave got me for using the blower. My Apple Watch still warned me the noise was over 90 decibels, but this time I was floating in a muted, peaceful world.
  • I’m grateful for our oven’s air fryer mode. The chicken came out perfectly crisp after being fried at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and flipped for 8 more.

I should really write a post on how to procrastinate less. Maybe tomorrow…

Love,
Jaclynn
