Movie Night

How’s it 8:41 p.m. already, huh?! Paused on the TV, ready for play to be pressed, is the movie The Witches. I grew up on the one with Anjelica Huston from 1990 and remember its weird impact on me as a kid. It was a touch thrilling, scary, and otherworldly. I loved it.

Evelyn’s at the Roald Dahl age—Fantastic Mr. Fox, The BFG, and now The Witches. We’ll get to James and the Giant Peach and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory next. What a fun trip down memory lane we’re having, and as a bonus, all the ones so far have had movies made.

I can’t split my attention between watching it and doing this—I better skedaddle. Night night,
Love, Jaclynn
