I am exhausted! My cousin’s wedding was today and is still going on. We left early because my eyes are red and veiny, and if you saw them, you’d say, You should get some rest, or those must be some good drugs.
But seriously, I have some meaningful, unique, and tear-jerking stories to share from tonight. Like the conversation I had with my aunt or the speech I hoped to give at toast time but didn’t.
My mind is swirling with thoughts to share; of the memories that make up a family and how mind-blowing it is when past, present, and future coalesce into one day.
I know I’m being vague, and I’m sure I’ll hit you with specifics later. But for now, I’ll just say I’m grateful and proud to be a part of a family that is one-of-a-kind and makes me feel like I truly belong.
I hope you have something like that out there somewhere too.
I’m doing the bed thing. Right the eff now.
