I’m slightly in a slump. Nothing major, but like the PNW’s dark, wet winters, middle Georgia’s summers are rough. If I run, it has to be before 9 am. If I want to pull weeds, check for fruits and vegetables to harvest, or roll a shovel around in the dirt in my Gorilla cart and fill in holes in the yard, my time to do so is short.
It’s like the power’s gone out and we’re living by candlelight. The norm of endless outdoor time is over, and now it’s indoor time for board and card games, video games, and eating.
I feel like I’m back in college. Accept without a Taco Bell within 10 minutes of me for a fourth meal.
Until then, I’ll embrace the air conditioning and pretend this is hibernation season.
Alright, you guys, I just wanted to check in before getting back to the Mexico and Ecuador World Cup Game. I hope you are doing well! Love, Jaclynn
